Privacy Policy – Who we are

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we receive the data shown in the comments box, and the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash). It depends though if you are using the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded place data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the site can download and extract any location data from pictures on the website.

Contact forms

We keep our contact forms submission for a specified period for customer service purposes, but we do not use the information submitted for marketing purposes.

We have no control over their sites, but rest assured that we only partner with honest and valuable humans. In any case, it’s worth reading the privacy notice of each place you visit.

How long we keep your data

Indefinitely we keep the comment and its metadata if you leave a comment. We do this because we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they offer in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or remove their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also view and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data
